Raney, Fujikawa Receive 4-Game Suspensions
Wednesday, July 22nd , 2026
Bad blood could be brewing between the Black Aces and the Thunder Wolves. In yesterday's contest at Santa Ana Stadium, Santa Ana's David Raney and Tacoma's Kyoshi Fujikawa caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Raney and Fujikawa were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 4 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

At the moment, Raney is hitting .335 with 9 home runs and 60 RBIs. He has played in 70 games and scored 52 times.

This season, Fujikawa has made 20 relief appearances and has 3 saves. His record is 0-0 with 20 strikeouts in 33.1 innings with a 7.29 ERA.
