Gonzales Batters Montgomery for 5 Hits Thursday, July 16th , 2026 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jorge Gonzales. The Anaheim Music center fielder tore up the Montgomery Missions to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Missions Grove. The offensive onslaught from Gonzales powered the 8-2 Music win. "Gonzales was a tough out," Montgomery manager Hoa Nguyen-Dinh said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jorge Gonzales singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
