Kinsella Booms 3 Homers Thursday, July 16th , 2026 Sikeston Shamrocks right fielder Andrew Kinsella put on a dazzling display of power at Shamrocks Park against the Spring Park Green Knights. In the 18-15 Shamrocks victory, Kinsella penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Spring Park manager Noah Lute said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 22-year-old had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Kinsella said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." Andrew Kinsella hit a solo-shot off Bob Galvan in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Alex Torres in the 3rd, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Carlos Hernandez in the 8th. This season, Kinsella has 5 home runs and a .292 batting average. |
