Yarbrough Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, June 30th , 2024 It was a parade of hits for John Yarbrough of the Tacoma Thunder Wolves at Cavalry Grounds. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Yarbrough finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Thunder Wolves to a win, 22-12. "Yarbrough was really good and we were really bad," groaned Cavalry manager Mike Schwartz. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." John Yarbrough hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Carlos Orosco in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
