Player of the Week Trophy to Escobar Monday, June 24th , 2024 Mike Escobar is respected by most Ottawa Lynx fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .481 average (13-for-27) with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year, Escobar has collected a .375 batting average to date with 15 hits in 40 at-bats, 23 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 9 times. He has played in 12 games. |
