For the game, Nick Arthur scored 3 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Arthur when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Arthur told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Nick Arthur hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, walked in a run in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Arthur is hitting at a .425 mark this season. His stats show 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has played 25 games for the Warlocks. |
