Greensboro-Aurora Brawl, Jenkins and Unknown Suspended Sunday, June 28th , 2026 Yesterday at Paints Park Trent Jenkins and Jim Unknown got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Greensboro Naturals and Aurora Paints. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Jenkins will have to sit out 4 while Unknown would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. In his 2026 season totals, Jenkins has 5 home runs, .308 BA, .403 OBP, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
