DiBiaso Cracks 3 HRs for Providence
Friday, June 26th , 2026
Providence Hex catcher Pete DiBiaso put on a dazzling display of power at Ballpark of Providence against the Tacoma Thunder Wolves. In the 8-4 Hex victory, DiBiaso penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.
"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."
Along with his three home runs, the 22-year-old had 5 hits in 6 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," DiBiaso said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
Pete DiBiaso flied out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Hernandez in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Omar Garza in the 8th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Gus Parra in the 12th.
Currently DiBiaso is batting .358 with 29 home runs and 57 RBIs.
