Bandy Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, June 21st , 2026 Bill Bandy collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Santa Ana Black Aces, beat the Medford Desperados, 6-5. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Bandy quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Bill Bandy hit a solo-shot off Darryl Snipes in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 10th. This year, Bandy has hit at a .371 clip with 84 RBIs, 24 home runs and 90 runs scored. |
