May's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, June 1st , 2024 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Mike Hedger has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Wichita Panthers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the Sub League 2 Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .429 average with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored. So far this year, Hedger is batting .395 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
