Garcia Gone for Season in South Pasadena Thursday, May 30th , 2024 When South Pasadena shortstop Willie Garcia was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Air Riders-Alpines game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Garcia had sustained a broken kneecap and will be out for about 7 months. At present, Garcia is batting .252 and has collected 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, .286 OBP and scored 16 runs. |
