Pierce Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, May 30th , 2024 David Pierce was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 26-6, over the Paints. The St. Joseph first baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Aurora in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." David Pierce hit a solo-shot off Brayden Snell in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
