Year Ends for Jose Moreira in Niskayuna Wednesday, May 29th , 2024 The season is ending on a bad note for Jose Moreira, reliever for the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Moreira was hurt against the Anaheim Music while throwing a pitch. He suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10-11 months. In 13 relief appearances in 2024, Moreira has nailed down the victory 4 times for his club. In 33 innings he has fanned 19 batters and walked 11. His won-lost record is 2-2 with a 6.27 ERA. |
