Elrod Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, June 10th , 2026 Bruce Elrod did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the Savannah Alpines to pull out a victory. The 22-year-old first baseman rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the Alpines could not overcome the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. Savannah lost the game, 16-11, at Alpines Stadium. Bruce Elrod singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
