Sunrays Grainger Lost for Year
Saturday, June 6th , 2026
Harvey Grainger will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Ontario reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Grainger was injured while throwing a pitch in the Sunrays-Super Troopers clash at Car Ramrod Park recently. Doctors said he has a stretched elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 8-9 months.
To this point in the season, Grainger has put up these figures: 2-1 record, 15 relief appearances with 31 innings, 1 save, 19 strikeouts, 17 walks and a 6.39 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .311 batting average.
