Voss Too Tough, Blanks St. Joseph Friday, June 5th , 2026 The St. Joseph Mighty Mites were almost helpless in their 18-0 loss to the Medford Desperados and hurler Emre Voss. Voss kept the Mighty Mites confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Voss," St. Joseph manager Chris Houston said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old left-hander had 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Voss said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." Looking at his season stats, Voss has won 3 and lost 3, collecting 45 strikeouts and 12 walks in 53 innings with a 4.08 ERA.
