Palhao Gone for Season in Niskayuna Wednesday, June 3rd , 2026 Ayres Palhao has to call it a season. The Niskayuna Fighting Knights starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Santa Barbara Super Troopers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Palhao was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. His record for the year is 2-3 in 8 starts and Palhao has a 5.45 ERA. |
