5-for-5 Day for Colglazier Tuesday, June 2nd , 2026 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Daniel Colglazier, it came around today. The 22-year-old left fielder scattered hits all over Miners Ballpark to pace the 12-3 Carson City Miners victory over the Ontario Sunrays. Ontario skipper Sam Story told reporters in the press room that "Colglazier deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Colglazier hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Daniel Colglazier hit a solo-shot off Tom Koch in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th.
