Carson City-Mt. Vernon Brawl, Simmons and Burleson Suspended Monday, May 25th , 2026 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Carson City-Mt. Vernon contest at Miners Ballpark. The Miners Ryan Simmons and the Cyclones Russ Burleson will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Simmons is batting .309 with 1 home run. He has scored 37 runs and driven in 23. This year, Burleson has compiled a 1-3 mark with a 5.86 ERA. |
