League Issues Mitchell 3-Game Suspension Sunday, June 15th , 2025 Black Aces right fielder Mike Mitchell will begin a 3-game suspension today for a confrontation with an umpire in a recent Santa Ana-Julian clash. The league suspended him for "inappropriate and aggressive actions" toward an umpire. Mitchell profusely argued a third strike call and was eventually ejected by the home plate umpire. This year, Mitchell is batting .254 with 8 home runs. He has scored 28 runs and driven in 24. |
