Hitting Streak Still Alive for MacPherson

Mike MacPherson has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Santa Barbara Super Troopers shortstop extended his streak to 20 games, going 2-for-5 as Santa Barbara got the best of the Wichita Panthers at Car Ramrod Park, 12-3.

"Mike has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Super Troopers manager Jimmy Jacobs said.
Mike MacPherson hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.

So far on the season, MacPherson is hitting .425 with 14 home runs, 49 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He has 96 hits and played in 58 games.
