Wranglers Pitching Ravaged by Sidener Sunday, April 27th , 2025 Bobby Sidener of the Panthers was unstoppable in his team's 17-6 victory over the Newport News Wranglers at Wranglers Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Wichita first baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-7 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Bobby Sidener flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
