Barnes Slams 3 Homers for Golden Gophers Monday, April 14th , 2025 Whatever Bobby Barnes ate for breakfast before his game against the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, it gave him some impressive power. The Little Rock first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Thunder Wolves Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Golden Gophers defeat the Thunder Wolves, 29-14. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 5 times, drove in 9 and put on a display that history will remember. Bobby Barnes hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
