Perez Socks It to Sunrays, Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, April 13th , 2025 Javy Perez was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Sunrays Field, the Montgomery left fielder blistered the Ontario Sunrays for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace his club to a good 22-7 victory. "Perez was too tough to get out," Sunrays skipper Sam Story said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Javy Perez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
