Wright Gets 5 Hits Saturday, April 27th , 2024 Jeremy Wright had an answer for everything the Corpus Christi Texans threw at him at Whataburger Field. The Riverside first baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Wolverines a win, 15-5. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Wright said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jeremy Wright singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jo Uehara in the 9th.
