Bobb Jacks 3 into the Stands Wednesday, June 8th , 2022 Haviland Thrashers left fielder Justin Bobb had a magnificent game against the Tulsa Captains, rocketing three balls out of Captains Ballpark to help the Thrashers win, 12-8. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Bobb went 4-for-4 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Haviland manager Matt Conners said later. "Seems like Justin found his home run stroke today." Justin Bobb hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th. Thus far this year, Bobb is hitting .270 with 26 home runs, 55 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
