5-for-7 Game for Naranjo Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 It was a sensational day at the plate for Oscar Naranjo as he led the charge to a nifty 27-13 win over the Killers. The Jacksonville catcher was pure misery for the Crystal Lake pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Naranjo put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Josh Lewis, manager for the Killers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Oscar Naranjo hit a two-run home run off Tomohito Tomoshino in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jordan Carreon in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
