Saint Pierre and Miquelon's Salas Will Miss Season Wednesday, May 25th , 2022 Doctors in Saint Pierre and Miquelon said Sam Salas might not play anymore this year. The Pirates right fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow during a game against the Moncton Mounties and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. In the current season, Salas has put up a .333 batting average with 51 hits, 11 home runs, 27 runs batted in and scored 28 runs. |
