2B Laycock Given 3-Game Suspension Friday, May 20th , 2022 Hassle an umpire and you will have to pay the consequences. Just ask Tulsa second baseman Ryan Laycock. He argued to excess over a third strike yesterday in the Tulsa-Chuluota game at Imperials Ballpark. Today the league office notified Laycock that he had been given a 3-game suspension for his egregious conduct. Luckily the Captains manager and the bench coach intervened physically and removed him from the field. Otherwise it might have gotten even worse. Laycock is hitting at a .225 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has played 27 games for the Captains. |
