Gallardo Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, April 24th , 2026 Chuluota second baseman Jose Gallardo keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Imperials Ballpark. The Imperials earned the 13-2 victory over the San Bernardino Flight. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Gallardo said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Jose Gallardo struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year, Gallardo is hitting .528 with 5 home runs. |
