Higgins Ups Hit Streak to 30 Consecutive Games Thursday, April 23rd , 2026 Matt Higgins of the Jacksonville Nationals extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with 3 hits in today's 7-3 triumph over the San Antonio Griffins at Nationals Park. "Matt has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Nationals manager Zack Glomski joked after the game. Matt Higgins walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, doubled in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
