Maser Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, April 22nd , 2026 Dave Maser continued his streak at Centerville Grounds, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Plymouth left fielder was 2-for-2 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Rockers were not as fortunate, losing, 12-3, to the Long Island Torpedoes. "Maser was hitting everything we threw at him," said Long Island manager Moises Gonzalez. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Dave Maser singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 4th and walked in the 6th. For the season, Maser is batting .561 with 32 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 16 times and batted in 16. |
