Mullinax Smacks 3 Out of the Park Tuesday, May 10th , 2022 Fans are still buzzing after Biloxi whipped the Tulsa Captains by the score of 15-7 at Impact Stadium. Jeff Mullinax smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the third baseman bashed out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, had 9 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Mullinax said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Mullinax said. "Three is just... wow." Jeff Mullinax hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 7th. A look at his season totals shows Mullinax with 4 home runs, .289 BA, .372 OBP, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. |
