Monster 3-HR Day for Watson

Paul Watson went yard three times in a Plymouth Rockers victory over the Moncton Mounties at Mapleton Yards.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Plymouth left fielder went 3-for-5 against Moncton with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Rockers to the 11-7 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Paul Watson hit a two-run home run off John Sherline in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Greg Brando in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Cody Jimenez in the 9th.
