Nava Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Thrashers Friday, May 6th , 2022 The Haviland Thrashers knocked off the Corpus Christi Texans, 14-6, in spite of a fantastic performance by Texans right fielder Michael Nava, who Nava drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Nava said later. Nava finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Michael Nava hit a solo-shot off Al Ramirez in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Al Ramirez in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jaheim Sneed in the 8th. This year, Nava is hitting .328 with 22 home runs and 41 RBIs in 30 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .357 with 6 walks and 35 runs scored. |
