Nava Raps 3 HR Against Imperials Thursday, May 5th , 2022 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Whataburger Field buzzing, Corpus Christi Texans right fielder Michael Nava blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 10-8, over the Chuluota Imperials. "Everything was clicking," Nava told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Nava shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Texans manager Cory Schreck said. "Michael played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Michael Nava flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Loeck Krijgsman in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Huang Chai in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Omar Vega in the 8th. Nava is hitting .314 in 2022 with 37 RBIs and 19 home runs. |
