McFarland Powers 3 HR Against Riverside Friday, April 10th , 2026 It was a terrific day for Bobby McFarland, who ripped three home runs at Wolverines Ballpark, and a disappointing one for the Jacksonville Nationals who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 11-9, to the Riverside Wolverines. "He was instant offense," Jacksonville skipper Zack Glomski said. "Bobby really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, McFarland collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Wolverines Ballpark. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Bobby McFarland flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Moises Esparza in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Moises Esparza in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Tony Hernandez in the 8th. |
