Gadsden Pounds 3 HR Sunday, April 11th , 2021 John Gadsden went on an explosive hitting spree against the Lincoln Princes at Spinners Ballpark, launching a trio of blasts to help the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates win, 8-2. The third baseman finished 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. "It was just one of those days," Gadsden said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Lincoln skipper Andy Hadley said Gadsden was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." John Gadsden hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
