Going, Going, Gone! Bobb Hits 3 Homers Monday, April 11th , 2022 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Thrashers-Panthers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Haviland left fielder Justin Bobb thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Haviland to a win, 9-2, over Buckeye Local. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Bobb said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Bobb, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, was 3-for-3 on the day with 6 runs batted in. Justin Bobb walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Derrick Lambert in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Brett Schoene in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Victor Aguilar in the 7th. Bobb is swinging at a .261 pace on the year with 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has played in 7 games. |
