SC Pitcher of the Year Award Goes to Nakashima Tuesday, October 22nd , 2024 Sueo Nakashima of the Haviland Thrashers outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2024 Southern Conference Pitcher of the Year Award. During his remarkable year Nakashima posted a 13-5 record in 27 starts. In 172.1 innings he yielded 163 hits and 76 walks while striking out 157 and compiling a fine 3.81 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Billy Kaufman of the Crystal Lake Killers finished second in voting, while Jamari Walker of the Crystal Lake Killers finished third.
