Rogers Grabs SC Reliever of the Year Award Monday, October 12th , 2026 Emmett Rogers said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 19 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Jacksonville Nationals rising star has won the Southern Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2026. He captured the award on the strength of his 2.70 ERA over 60 innings. He also had 4 saves in 36 relief appearances, 72 strikeouts and only 8 walks. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 24. Danny Flores of the Haviland Thrashers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Brian Kyzar of the Crystal Lake Killers finished third with 5 first place votes.
