Moncton SP Almonte Will Miss 8-9 Months Thursday, September 12th , 2024 Alex Almonte of the Moncton Mounties was injured in today's game against Buffalo and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, and he is expected to be out for up to 8-9 months. It happened while Almonte was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." His record for the year is 14-7 in 28 starts and Almonte has a 5.24 ERA. |
