Jacksonville Playoff Hopes Officially Zero
Monday, September 9th , 2024
While some ABA Rookie League pundits expected the Jacksonville Nationals to be in this year's playoffs, that won't be the case. The Nationals have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.
"Today was not a fun day," said reliever Chris Kelley.
The Nationals had a streak of 6 straight playoff appearances before this year. In the 24 years they have been a ABA Rookie League franchise, they have made the playoffs 18 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Nationals have made the playoffs 10 times. Jacksonville last won the World Series in 2014.
