Hit Streak Now at 30 for Dixon Thursday, September 4th , 2025 Adrian Dixon, left fielder for the Moncton Mounties, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games with 3 hits in his club's 37-9 victory over the Long Island Torpedoes at Mapleton Yards. "Not the outcome we wanted," Long Island manager Moises Gonzalez said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Adrian Dixon hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. For the season, Dixon is currently batting .402 with 18 home runs and 84 RBIs. In 77 games he has reached base at a .477 rate and scored 94 runs to date. |
