Gratta on Fire: 5-for-6 for Buckeye Local Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Nick Gratta -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Sled Dogs Ballpark and paced the 17-5 Panthers win over the Juneau Sled Dogs. After his dynamite batting performance, the Buckeye Local first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Nick Gratta singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Adrian Leal in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
