Wayne Earthquakes tagged 1 hit in today's 4-1 loss to the Haviland Thrashers at Earthquakes Stadium to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Jose Valdez grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Valdez is batting .470 with 40 home runs. |
