5-Hit Blitz by Terra Linda's Leon Friday, August 29th , 2025 Preston Leon told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Leon of the Terra Linda Chargers did against the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 16-15. "Not much I can say," offered Leon in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Preston Leon hit a solo-shot off Ben Epps in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
