5-for-6 Day for Durant Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 The Picture Rocks Raptors stopped the Riverside Wolverines by a score of 9-8 at Wolverines Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Justin Durant. The 19-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Durant said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Durant did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Wolverines. "Not much that I can say," offered Riverside manager Matt Augustus. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Justin Durant singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
