"I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Earthquakes Stadium." For the day, Nelson collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 5 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Ft. Wayne skipper Du-sung Moon said. "Troy really put on a show." Troy Nelson hit a solo-shot off Noah Damm in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Noah Damm in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Hidenori Miyata in the 8th.
