Hit Streak Now at 60 for McFarland Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 Jacksonville second baseman Bobby McFarland keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 60 games after collecting 1 hit at Nationals Park. The Nationals earned the 10-9 victory over the Picture Rocks Raptors. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," McFarland said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Bobby McFarland grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year, McFarland has hit at a .512 pace and produced 92 RBIs, 25 home runs and scored 80 runs. |
